Apple recently revealed its all-new phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's three refreshed versions of existing models as well as the new iPhone 17 Air, which takes the place of the iPhone Plus. If camping out on release day isn't your style, and you still need to grab one right away, you will be able to place a pre-order for the iPhone 17, 17 Pro Max, 17 Pro or iPhone Air from 10pm AEST on September 12, in advance of the September 19 release date.
Aplpe’s iPhone 17 has a fresh design with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and slimmer bezels. And after much anticipation (and a ton of grumbling), the base iPhone finally includes a 120Hz refresh rate.
Internally, Apple’s new A19 chip is faster and also more efficient, especially when teamed up with Apple Intelligence. If you are upgrading from an older iPhone, you'll notice a significant increase in speed and smoother gaming thanks to ProMotion.
Camera wise, you will find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) and a 2x telephoto lens. The device’s ultra-wide camera also features an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography more detailed and more refined.

The iPhone 17 will come in a range of colours including black, white, steel gray, light blue, green and purple.The iPhone 17 Air is set to come in four shades: black, white, light gold and sky blue.
The Pro and Pro Max models will be offered in blue, orange and silver.
